Reporting to the Manager of Purchasing and Ancillary Services, the Laundry Attendant focuses on tasks like sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Flexibility is required for occasional weekend shifts and during school closures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and wash laundry items for boarding students
• Distribute items to students’ personal boxes
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry facility
• Operate laundering equipment safely
• Assist with additional tasks as needed
