Key Qualifications
- Fellow with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
- Doctorate in Medicine (MD)
- Full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia in Pathology
- Eligibility for a full medical licence in the Province of British Columbia, Canada
- Fellowship training or equivalent subspecialty experience in an academic setting
- Certification in Anatomical Pathology
Responsibilities
- Provide consultative and diagnostic surgical pathology services and autopsy services
- Process and analyze approximately 35,000 surgical pathology specimens annually at Kelowna General Hospital
- Engage in academic activities within the Southern Medical Program of the University of British Columbia, including teaching medical students
