About This Opportunity

Engage with Canadian Foodgrains Bank’s Hunger on the Hill event in Ottawa, October 17-21, 2026. Advocate for climate change and global food security alongside fellow United Church members.

This intergenerational experience, organized by The United Church of Canada, invites participants aged 18+ to learn, discuss, and meet with MPs. Engage in two virtual sessions before traveling to Ottawa for vital face-to-face advocacy activities. Collaborate with CFGB staff and fellow attendees to understand the pressing issues of hunger and climate change.

Key Responsibilities:
• Attend two virtual pre-learning sessions
• Travel to Ottawa for in-person workshops
• Meet MPs and Senators for advocacy
• Participate in a virtual debrief session
• Prepare a summary of the experience with photos

Requirements:
