GRAIN MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for a Grain Merchant to contribute to the strategy and execution of the location's grain merchandising plan by managing sourcing and logistics, and guiding customer relations and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective business relationships with current and potential customers, targeting those the company can profitably serve.
• Maintain regular contact with customers at the location.
• Contact producers on farms based on customer strategies to increase awareness of business needs and develop Crop Plans for key customers.
• Develop and implement a merchandising strategy for the location.
• Collect grain samples for processing to build a data sample base.
• Develop grain contracts reflecting movement opportunities and customer strategy.
• Ensure contract compliance, including signature and delivery.
