About This Opportunity

Facilitate healing through support as a Grief Group Volunteer Facilitator. Work with individuals managing their grief by leading closed bereavement groups, fostering community and connection.
As a co-facilitator of bereavement groups, you will aid those grieving the loss of loved ones in structured sessions spanning 6–8 weeks. Your role is pivotal in creating a safe space for sharing emotions and experiences. Volunteers should bring empathy and have a background in supporting hospice clients, with additional skills in facilitation and public speaking seen as a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-lead grief support groups with another volunteer
• Guide discussions that promote healing and understanding
• Ensure confidentiality and respect within the group
• Engage participants through structured activities
• Devote 3–5 hours each week to session activities
