Main Functions:

• Manage and oversee rigging operations
• Act as the lead rigger during rehearsals and performances
• Ensure the rigging team and technical personnel respect standards and regulations regarding the safety of rigging equipment, and apply safe work methods
• Develop and update training and succession programs to ensure continuity of rigging operations during performance runs
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, and keep records of inspections and alterations
• Support the Technical Director by taking part in the process of hiring new technicians, managing team budgets and projecting expenditures

Requeriments:

• College or University- Live entertainment or theatre production (or relevant work experience)
