Job Details
Salary: 27.00–28.50 hourly (to be negotiated). Hours: 40 per week.
Terms of employment: Full time. Start date: As soon as possible.
Education
- Secondary high school graduation certificate
Experience
2 years to less than 3 years.
Work setting
Responsibilities
- Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety and accident prevention.
- Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public.
- Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses.
- Develop and implement health and safety plans.
- Oversee the preparation of reports.
- Respond to employee questions and complaints.
Credentials
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
