The Opportunity

As a Health Care Aide, you will work as a member of the care team, collaborating on the delivery of resident care. The Health Care Aide, under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, applies their knowledge and skills in order to provide a wide variety of safe and thorough basic care and services to residents.

What You Will Do

• Work to your full scope of practice and provide resident focused care.
• Observe residents for any changes in resident status when tub bathing, washing, cleaning, dressing, and changing residents. Report any changes in the resident’s condition to the Staff Nurse as soon as possible.
• Participate in the development of the Nursing Care Plan (NCP) by sharing observations, information and knowledge of the needs and strengths of the residents.
