Serenity House is a 12 bed Supportive Living program with mild to moderate dementia care, located adjacent to Drayton Valley Continuing Care. As the Health Care Aide at Serenity House, you are responsible for providing direct client support to individuals with dementia residing in Serenity House in a manner that demonstrates principles of choice, dignity, privacy, individuality and independence. Areas of support include personal care, medication assistance, housekeeping, laundry, recreation and meal service. Drayton Valley is located in the Central Zone, just 133 km southwest of Edmonton and 172 km northwest of Red Deer. The town has a population of over 7,000.
