New Horizon Co-op is hiring aHealth, Safety and Sustainability Coordinatorat our Resource Office in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
What you’ll do:
- Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety department, including document preparation, data entry, scanning, and records management
- Support Health & Safety projects, including the development and updating of resources, policies, procedures, and manuals
- Coordinate and facilitate required health and safety training for employees and contractors (e.g., WHMIS, TDG, First Aid), and maintain accurate training records
- Conduct health and safety orientations for new employees and contractors
- Assist with the review and update of health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance
