The local physician group is hiring inpatient care physicians to provide part‑time or locum inpatient care at Saanich Peninsula Hospital (SPH). Family medicine inpatient care is a highly valued and rewarding service in our community hospital.

SPH is a 65‑bed acute care community hospital with an 18‑bed emergency department that cares for 31,000 patients per year. SPH is the primary referral hospital for the Southern Gulf Islands, serving a total population of approximately 87,000 people. Tertiary care support and consultants are 30 minutes away by road at Victoria General Hospital and Royal Jubilee Hospital. Medical imaging, laboratory services and a CT scanner operate from 07:30 to 24:00 daily plus on‑call overnight.
