The Senior HVAC BIM Modeller is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems in construction projects. This role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure accurate design integration, clash-free models, and compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. BIM Modelling & Development
Develop LOD 200–500 HVAC BIM models using Autodesk Revit (MEP) Model HVAC systems including: Air distribution systems (ducts, fittings, dampers, VAVs) Hydronic piping (CHW, condenser water, refrigerant piping) HVAC equipment (AHU, FCU, VRF, chillers, pumps, etc.) Create parametric families for HVAC components where required Ensure models are aligned with design intent, calculations, and specifications Coordination & Clash Detection
