Ammega is hiring a Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting for our North American entities in Edmonton or Mississauga. This hybrid position demands high attention to detail in monthly and annual financial processes.
You will play a key role in maintaining general ledger accuracy while collaborating with the Financial Reporting Manager and various departments. Your contributions will include audit support, cost accounting, and improving financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record and verify general ledger entries
• Conduct month-end close and reconciliations
• Analyze and resolve variances in balance sheets
• Manage inventory costs and valuations
• Prepare management and compliance reports efficiently
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong general ledger and IFRS understanding
