Make a meaningful impact at Liard First Nation as an Income Assistance Administrator. You'll administer the income assistance program while supporting members in need and ensuring adherence to program guidelines.
In this role, under the Employment and Social Team Lead, you will process payments, assess client needs through interviews, and maintain compliance with legislative standards. Your focus will be on delivering comprehensive assistance, including the documentation of cases and preventing errors in the payment processes. The position also requires collaboration with other service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process payment requests for eligible members
• Conduct interviews to determine client eligibility
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for all cases
• Assist members in navigating Employment Insurance applications
