Overview

As in-house Legal Counsel to join as their first in-house legal hire. This position will focus on commercial contracting, data privacy, and risk management, playing a key role in enabling the company’s growth while ensuring a solid compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, and sub-processor contracts. Standardize contract templates and fallback positions to streamline deal cycles. Ensure agreements align with Promowise’s service model and data handling standards.
• Data Privacy & Compliance: Maintain compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and CASL by developing and updating DPAs, privacy templates, and sub-processor lists. Manage cross-border data transfer frameworks and support client/vendor compliance reviews. As...
