NHSGGC is seeking a junior doctor (FY2) to join the Department of Neurosurgery at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for a fixed‑term, 12‑month contract commencing August2026. Shift Pattern & Working Hours

Shift pattern: Mon‑Sun early/late, nights/weekends/on‑call. The successful candidate will take part in the on‑call, out‑of‑hours rota as part of a 10‑person FY2 team. Key Responsibilities

Provide in‑patient ward care for neurosurgical patients. Assess admissions and manage acute patients on the wards and in the High Dependency Unit (HDU). Organise and collate test results and complete immediate discharge summaries. Attend in‑house meetings in neuro‑surgery and neuro‑radiology. Qualifications & Requirements
