Job Purpose

The K-9 Online Learning Generalist Teacher oversees all aspects of a student’s educational program, including the planning, implementation, assessment, and reporting of the program. The K-9 O.L. Generalist Teacher role includes collaborating with families and creating individualized programs based on the unique needs of each student and family situation.

Reporting

The K-9 O.L. Generalist Teacher directly reports to the K-9 Principal of CHEK ABC.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Be familiar with, reference and implement the Standards for K-12 Online Learning in BC found at:
• Be familiar with CHEK ABC local policies and policy for the delivery of a K-9 program including: (Access to the CHEK ABC Master Policy Manual - online - is provided on request)
• Ensure that CHEK ABC policies and best practices are followed
• Keep up-to-date records as outlined in CHEK ABC policy
