About the Role

The Lab Patient Technician is responsible for specimen collection from greeting patients to preparing specimens for transportation, playing a key role in patient care and laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and obtain required information, explain specimen collection, and ensure procedures are followed.
• Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect Holter monitors, and conduct ECG tracings.
• Collect special test specimens such as medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, and clinical trials, and complete related documentation.
• Maintain client relationships, respond to inquiries, and follow up on requests.
