Labor & Delivery Triage Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Responsible for professional accountability and development.
• Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
