Join the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics as a Business Law Lecturer for Fall 2026. Teach critical legal principles in-person from September 10 to December 23.
This role requires a focus on contract law, tort law, and business transactions, facilitating a rich learning environment for 110 undergraduate students. Classes occur Tuesday and Thursday evenings, integrating actionable court decisions into the curriculum. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching and familiarity with BU231 content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Present lectures on significant legal principles
• Integrate real-life court cases in discussions
• Utilize classroom technology for enhanced learning
• Hold accessible office hours for student interaction
• Work collaboratively to align course delivery with faculty
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, LLB/JD or equivalent
• Active membership in Law Society of Ontario
