The Role We are looking for a Lead Test Engineer to build and lead Moment Energy’s testing and validation capabilities. This role is responsible for defining and executing the testing strategy that ensures the safety, reliability, and performance of our battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Responsibilities and Duties Testing Strategy & Leadership

Own and lead Moment Energy’s testing and validation strategy across R&D, product development, and certification.

Develop and maintain comprehensive test frameworks covering component, subsystem, rack, and full BESS-level validation.

Establish testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across the engineering organization.

Mentor and guide Test Engineers, providing technical leadership and support on complex testing activities.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define validation plans for new products, features, and design changes.
