Learning Coach Position

Number of positions is dependent on Ministry funding.

• K‑6 Learning Coach with Literacy and Numeracy Focus (1.0 FTE)

Required for the 2026‑2027 School Year.

Qualifications

• Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation
• PR/JR/INT/SR Qualifications (minimum of two)
• Hold, or be working towards a 3‑part Mathematics Primary and Junior specialist AQ, or Math Honours Specialist (for Numeracy positions)
• Hold, or be working towards a 3‑part Reading or Writing specialist AQ, or English Honours Specialist (for Literacy positions)
• Five years certified teaching experience an asset
• Must be a current permanent teacher with District School Board Ontario North East with a satisfactory TPA within the last 5 years
