Pay Range: $68,570 to $80,830 per year.

Position Summary

Legal Counsel and Privacy Officer for BORN Ontario, reporting to the Executive Director of BORN Ontario. The role provides legal and privacy guidance to senior management and partners across the province, ensuring compliance with health law and information privacy while supporting BORN’s strategic initiatives and digital health programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and information privacy advice to BORN senior management on a wide range of issues.
• Develop and implement a proactive legal framework, including monitoring national and provincial legislation and providing briefings and analysis on its applicability to BORN and CHEO.
• Offer detailed legal and privacy analysis and recommendations for new and emerging digital health operations involving BORN Ontario and CHEO programs.
