Your Opportunity:

The UAH Medicine Relief Team at the University of Alberta Hospital provides relief (float) staff to 13 Medicine units providing care for General Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pulmonary, Nephrology, GI and Hematology patients. The Medicine program is a dynamic and fast paced adult acute care program dedicated to best practice in providing patient and family centered care. Care is delivered by an interdisciplinary collaborative care team in accordance with the AHS Values, hospital policies and nursing care standards. Specific Accountabilities:
As a member of the collaborative, interdisciplinary team, the LPN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care and practices to full scope as defined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
