Job OverviewAs the Maintenance Group Leader, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees and will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with the standard GM maintenance systems.Work ConditionsOn Site: This position requires working on site on a full-time basis.ResponsibilitiesConduct appropriate checks and tests and communicate evaluation of results.Recommend solutions to problems.Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.Meet schedule and quality requirements.Comply with the terms of local and national labor agreements.Implement divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices.Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside the work group.Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment.Establish a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project.
