The Machinist Technician is primarily responsible for evaluating and diagnosing causes for Electric motors and gearboxes and repairs. Millwright experience is asset.
The Role
Complete dismantle and inspection of Electric motors, Electric Generators and other mechanical equipment. As well complete a comprehensive Inspection and test report with accurate measurements related to these components.Take pictures during job processBuild, repair, service, and troubleshoot various motors and generators.Tests rebuild components or systems to acceptable results.Always maintain cleanliness of shop and work area to ensure the maintenance of a safe work environment, performing various cleaning and maintenance duties as required Participate in monthly safety meetings.Follow Quality Assurance and Safety programs.
