Key Accountabilities

• Manage Contracts and Service Agreements established between BCEHS and commercial air carriers for charter aviation services.
• Maintain guidelines, policies and procedures for Aviation Services, including aviation standards, quality assurance, and industry best practices.
• Monitor, assess and report on contracted air carriers’ implementation of standards set by Transport Canada, BCEHS contracts and aircraft manufacturers.
• Track service performance relative to contract requirements.
• Review heliport and/or airport facilities to ensure they safely support the province’s air ambulance system.
