Overview The Manager, Mexico Statutory Accounting is a position within the Americas Controller organization. The Senior Manager will work closely with other members of the Finance organization, especially members of FP&A, Legal, Regional Shared Service, and Global Tax teams. The Manager is responsible for statutory audits and their related matters.
Responsibilities - Prepare timely, accurate reporting and filing of statutory financial results, including annual filings (e.g. MD&A, footnote disclosures, etc.).
- Coordinate with external local CPA firm in preparation of schedules and interrogatories for Mexico tax and accounting filings.
- Primary accounting lead on any ad-hoc statutory audits and examinations from external or internal inquiries, including but not limited to governmental agencies, external auditors, etc.
- Perform local account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies on a timely basis.
