Job Summary This position is responsible for establishing and managing adequate team member levels at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) Line Maintenance Base as well as oversight over line maintenance stations in St Johns (YYT), Montreal Trudeau (YUL) and the MET (YHU). This involves organizing crews from three Transport Canada recognized scopes, M, E and S Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to ensure the correct skill set is available for planned and unplanned work on company aircraft.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work with other Porter leaders, external vendors and contracted companies to manage the operation at our maintenance facilities in YHZ, YUL, YHU and YYT.

Ensure that recognized standards of work are carried out by all personnel under their supervision.

Coordinate and supervise the inspection and rectification of aircraft and components including repair, modification, overhaul and alteration.
