Reporting to the Director of Patient Care, the manager is accountable for the organization, management and leadership of various interdisciplinary teams of the hospital, including counsellors, nurses, social workers, dietitians, and administrative staff. Through the use of leadership skills, management tools, an understanding of the decision-making processes and the responsible use of resources, the manager leads the departments in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of services in alignment with organizational goals and objectives to ensure quality client care. The manager works collaboratively with management, staff and physicians at SLMHC.
