Essential Job Functions Provide engineering support in the evaluation and qualification of materials and components submitted by potential suppliers. The job function will require the employee to:
- Lead sample testing and qualification activities for new suppliers, ensuring materials meet performance, quality, and specification requirements.
- Coordinate and execute material testing (mechanical, physical, chemical, and application‑specific tests) in collaboration with internal labs and external resources.
- Analyze test data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations on supplier approval or required corrective actions.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Global Operations to align test requirements and prioritization.
