Kleinschmidt Mechanical Engineer

We have a full‑time opening for a Mechanical Engineer to support design and consulting for hydroelectrical power plants out of Halifax, NS or Peterborough, ON. The position requires a hybrid environment with work in the office three days a week.

Salary

86,000 – 120,000 CAD per year (based on experience).

Responsibilities

This position involves a combination of mechanical design tasks, typically dealing with unique design issues for fish passage projects, hydroelectric turbines, gates, trash rakes, hydroelectric balance‑of‑plant retrofits and rehabilitation efforts at existing hydroelectric projects as well as the design of new power stations with a future in customer‑facing consulting work.
