Position summary
The Mechanical Design Engineer will support lead engineers with the creation of 3D parts, assembly CAD Models, 2D Drawings and 3D Model Based Definitions, Bill of Materials (BOM) and PLM/PDM data.
It is expected to perform tasks with minimal to no supervision and coaching.
Will support the NPDI projects developing reliable and accurate designs for water Chiller products.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design of chiller products developing structural sheet metal parts and HVAC piping including refrigerant and hydraulic.
Create and maintain 3D assembly models in Creo.
Develop 3D parts and create required documentations 2D drawings or 3D Model Based Definitions (PVZ's).
Prepare and maintain BOM.
Contribute and collaborate with electrical and thermal engineers to develop new solutions for chiller water systems.
Selections of materials and hardware.
Keep communication with suppliers.
