Position Title: HISTOLOGY Medical Lab Technologist

Compensation: As per Collective Agreement

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to Midnight (75 hours bi-weekly)

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of routine laboratory procedures to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease in the Histology lab.

Key Accountabilities

• Retrieve specimens from Specimen Processing and prepare them for accessioning.
• Opens, separates, numbers, and arranges Histology specimens for laboratory examination & processing.
