Program Overview

Based in Montevideo, the two-year Development Graduate Programme offers 3 × 8-month rotations across Deals Desk, Operations, and Trade Finance in Energy or Metals and Minerals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deals Desk: review and verify trades and trade terms, produce daily P&L and exposure reports, liaise with traders, operations and finance to reconcile positions, investigate and resolve trade discrepancies.
• Operations: coordinate the physical movement and delivery of commodities, including managing vessel or land logistics and documentation, liaising with counter parties and terminal, tracking cargo movements and inventories, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Trade Finance: structure and execute real-world commodity trade finance deals, draft, negotiate and manage trade documents such as letters of credit, guarantees and receivables financing, monitor global trade flows, payment schedules a...
