Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs receptionist duties by receiving visitors, answering routine inquiries and telephone calls/emails and/or directing them to appropriate departments or staff, and providing information and direction. Refers all resident condition inquiries, problems and complaints to the appropriate authority.
- Obtains resident information for admission to the facility, provides routine information and collects fees and signed consent forms.
- Provides information regarding payable fees according to hospital policy and collects and deposits money related to fees.
- Maintains resident trust accounts: receives resident rent and comfort cheques, records and provides receipts as required. Provides petty cash to residents, records on spreadsheet, and balances cash box account. Refers any issues to Finance Department staff.
