Department: Occupational Health and Safety
Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness (OHS&W), the Occupational Health Nurse will work within the Standards of Nursing practice and the RN competencies of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and the standards of nursing care of the NBRHC. The position focuses on ensuring the NBRHC and the Occupational Health Service are compliant with evidence‑based best practices and all applicable legislation, including but not limited to the Occupational Health & Safety Act. The role involves being a clinician, specialist, coordinator, adviser, health educator, counselor, and researcher.
