Position Summary: Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi’it First Nation (Tobacco Plains Band) is a rural First Nation located near Grasmere, BC, in one of the most beautiful and natural parts of British Columbia. The First Nation is seeking an experienced Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and management of workplace health and safety programs. The OHS Specialist will foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all employees, contractors, and community members, ensuring compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety legislation and promoting a proactive safety culture across YQT’s diverse programs, services and operations.
