Job Overview

Seeking an Outside Plant (OSP) Designer specializing in computer-aided drawings (CAD) for a contract term from May 2026 to December 2026 in Bedford, Nova Scotia.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform drafting in AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Transpose designs from one system into other database types.
• Peer review finished drawing packages.
• Read and interpret fibre network design drawings and outside plant records (data, maps).
• Collaborate with other divisional teams to overcome project challenges and provide optimal solutions.
• Conduct field survey and data collection (out of province as needed).

• Detailed knowledge of some of the following programs:
  • QGIS
  • Network Engineer
  • NetworkX
  • Spatial Net
