Make an impact at the Diabetes Management Centre as a Clinical Dietitian. Provide essential education and support to patients managing diabetes while working part-time at multiple locations.
This long-term, part-time role with Nova Scotia Health involves direct patient education and self-management support. You will be responsible for disease management, care coordination, and nutritional counseling. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to empower patients to control their health and prevent diabetes complications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized diabetes nutrition counseling
• Assist with medication management and insulin adjustments
• Develop and facilitate diabetes education programs
• Support physical activity counseling for patients
• Engage in community resource linking for patient support
Requirements:
