Our client in the high volume retail space is currently active on the market to hire for an experienced Payroll Leadership Professional to join the organization.

Reporting to the Director of Financial Shared Services, the ideal candidate will have:

experience processing full cycle payroll within a high volume environment (5,000+)

previous experience managing 5+ direct payroll reports

strong legislative compliance knowledge for Canada

US payroll legislation understanding is considered a nice to have

hands on experience with Workday, ideally in your most recent role

ability to partner with the inhouse Workday SME to optimize the environment, troubleshooting etc.

ability to collaborate with Finance and HR departments regarding systems upgrades and changes

understanding of escalations and ticketing systems

PLP or CPM certification
