This position is primarily in acute care. Standard work hours are M - F 7:30am - 4::00pm. Saturday and holiday rotation are required.
The Physical Therapist I job is primarily responsible for the delivery of physical therapy care to the patient population to which she/he is assigned and the recording of that care in the hospital medical record.
The Physical Therapist acts as a consultant to various patient clinics, provides instruction to PT support staff, students, personnel of other disciplines within VCUHS, and patient and/or family members. Therapists may also rotate through our various clinical service areas.Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:
