Summary of Duties

• Responsible for providing person‑centred patient assessments and interventions in collaboration with the interprofessional team, including recommendations for follow‑up as required (i.e. Home Care Program, community or rehabilitation resources). Actively participates in inter‑professional team activities such as team meetings, clinical rounds, team huddles and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participates in continuing professional development activities including the provision of clinical and educational in‑services that fosters ongoing learning, professionalism, interprofessional collaborations, and best practices in physiotherapy.
• Participates in the supervision and education of physiotherapy students on an ongoing basis.
• Is an expert resource for staff, students, and other health care providers related to physiotherapy in the Tory Trauma Program.
