Overview

Summary of Duties: The Physiotherapist (in collaboration with the interprofessional team) is responsible for providing person centred patient assessments and interventions, including recommendations for follow-up and discharge planning as required on the Oncology Patient Services Units (i.e. Home Care Program, community or rehabilitation resources). This position will provide coverage to both the surgical and medical oncology units.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in inter-professional team activities such as team meetings, clinical rounds, and huddles.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evaluative processes that include the use of standardized and valid outcome measures, report writing, and research activities.
