Pipefitter

Fortis Mining, Engineering, & Manufacturing is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate, detail-driven Pipefitter. The Pipefitter’s primary responsibilities include installing various pipe specifications. This will be accomplished through the ability to review and interpret blueprints and other diagrams to understand requirements. The Pipefitter must possess technical knowledge to properly fit pipe and identify the right type for the job. The ability to troubleshoot and determine corrective actions on-site is an asset.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test will be required as a condition of employment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Fit various types of pipes
• Use pipe fitting tools for cutting and attaching pipe to different materials
• Read designs, diagrams, or blueprints and identify exactly what type of pipe is required for the job
• Test, maintain, and modify pipe systems
