Description Responsible of purchases and supplies of direct material for the production area, in such a way as to ensure continuity according to the production program.
Key Responsibilities - MRP analysis
- Enter purchase orders based on current demand and lead times, confirm with supplier deliveries on time and track shipments to import.
- Keep purchase orders updated.
- Expedite and defer material based on current demand.
- Give the appropriated feedback about shortage material in reports as showstopper report and materials binnacle.
- Follow up and ensure the delivery of shortage material in production line.
- Review material in consignment and with Kanban level.
- Review obsolete and slow-moving inventory for disposal.
- Review discrepancies with material and prices (buyer exception report).
