Overview

The Capacity Planner I supports the development and maintenance of capacity plans for ongoing programs within the shipyard. Working under the guidance of senior planners and leadership, the role focuses on assisting with layout validation, block movement planning, and capacity analysis to ensure alignment between design, operations, and planning requirements. This role will contribute to resolving planning challenges related to block orientation, pin jig configurations, crane accessibility, and workstation constraints by reviewing drawings and validating plans using AutoCAD and 3D model viewer tools. The position will also support yard capacity assessments, including storage and buffer planning, to ensure efficient utilization of limited space and alignment with production needs.
