About J-PAL

J-PAL is a global research center working to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. Through partnerships with affiliated professors, governments, NGOs, and donors, J-PAL conducts randomized evaluations to identify effective approaches to reducing poverty and improving lives.
