Product Area Buyer

What you’ll do:

Specifically responsible for Divisional Segment Purchasing of Plastics, in support of multiple Product Lines.
Works within a purchasing team to create a purchasing strategy for a segment of goods. Supports Product Area Manager & Global Lead Buyer.
Evaluates vendor quotes, services, and savings, to determine the most desirable suppliers. Works all aspects of vendor relationship management and lifecycle.
Supports divisional workshops & Zero-Defect Strategy with Supplier Quality.

What is required:
Requires a bachelor's degree with preference given for knowledge, skills and abilities that apply most directly to the position (Raw Materials purchasing, new technology and manufacturing methods)
Willingness to Travel up to 20% - Domestically and Internationally
