POSITION TITLE: PRODUCTION MANAGER
OBJECTIVE: Directs and Coordinates through Subordinate Supervisory Personnel the activities of a Production Area or Shift according to Quantity and Quality specifications.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
1. Directs and Coordinates through Subordinate Supervisory Personnel the activities of a Production Area or Shift, by: reviewing Production Orders or Schedules to ascertain Product Data, such as Types, Quantities and Specifications of Products and Scheduled Delivery Dates in order to plan the Area’s or Shift’s Operations according to Quantity and Quality specifications.
2. Plans and Coordinates with the Production Manager the Production Operations establishing priorities and sequences for Manufacturing Products utilizing knowledge of Production Processes and Methods, Machine and Equipment capabilities as well as Manpower requirements.
